NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The PUBLIC HEARING of the Hazelton City Council

Pursuant to I.C. 50-1807, that the Mayor and Council of The City of Hazelton, County of Jerome, Idaho on this 8th day of January, 2020 hereby estimate that $24,720.00 are the necessary funds for the expense of maintaining, operating, improving, extending and enlarging the City irrigation system for the current fiscal year.

The City Treasurer is directed to immediately carry out said assessment roll and further to give notice that the Mayor and City Council Shall meet the 12TH day of February 2020 at 6:45 PM to correct the assessment roll. The hearing will be held at the City Hall, 246 Main Street, Hazelton, ID. The public is invited to provide testimonies concerning the Irrigation assessment, copies of assessment are available at City Hall during regular office hours (8:30A.M.-4:30 PM Mon-Thurs).

 City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities, please contact the City Clerk at (208-829-5415) at least 48 hours prior to the hearing.

IDAHO CODE RESTRICTS THE RELEASE OF WATER UNTIL ALL ASSESSMENTS ARE PAID OR AFTER 30 DAYS PAST THE DUE DATE. ON APRIL 30TH ALL UNPAID ASSESSMENTS WILL BE DECLARED DELINQUENT AND THE WATER WILL BE ABLE TO BE RELEASED ON 1 MAY, 2018.

IRRIGATION ASSESSMENTS HAVE BEEN MAILED AND ARE DUE BY APRIL 1, 2018
